Hiiii now that we have all our hallways back (and are well protected thanks Illyana) I wanted to touch base about the piece of Sentinel brain that I liberated so we may know our enemy and all that.

I got pretty deep into their coding. So, when they sustain enough damage they send a signal to this thing called MASTER MOLD? Does that sound familiar? Is it a literal master of mold? Can it not be? What is this.

Some more origin story: I was able to visit the databases that described who has research and design contracts with the government for their creation. Turns out it's Shaw Industries and a bunch more. So Warren and Emma are going to try to work some business and personal angles to get more intel. If we can figure out who's building and shipping what, we could also find out Where. So this is helpful. But also Sebastian Shaw can drown die step on like 86 rusty nails.

[...]In important but slightly scarier news. Currently, the Sentinels are set to detain mutants. But that wasn't always the case. Initial default programming was to eliminate, which is probably why when they shorted out, they got really murdery. That's all I could get from my brain slice. I want another one to figure out more about these things.

Happy to share more details as I know them, but I couldn't glean a lot more.

Thank you for finding all of this, Kätzchen. It's daunting, but now we are at least a little more prepared. (Master Mold is a very silly name for something that threatens our way of life.)

We should prioritize those shipping lists. Maybe tracking the movements of key materials for their construction will be less closely guarded.

Scott has been perfecting the danger room's Sentinel programming, and I want us all to be tacking that at least twice a week.

I know it's probably mold as in "form" as in "production" but I can't stop thinking about mold as in "these are creatures of a black mold delirium growth" and I don't think that's wrong of me.

But yeah. That's what I thought. Though I'm sure all of these materials are still pretty highly guarded. And expensive.

There are six levels of training programs, one for each known model and a sixth for different combinations at the same time. They're based on recorded observations instead of actual blueprints, so there's some gaps in our knowledge, but the Danger Room programs represent our best understanding of Sentinels so far.

We should make our first priority stopping Sentinels from capturing mutants.

Hopefully they'll put in more failsafes after the debacle in Phoenix, but I won't hold my breath. We should be mindful when disabling them of avoiding anything that might cause them to short circuit again.
