In some ways it's akin to learning to hold your breath underwater, I think. And even being able to use Cerebro at all took training.

I was going to say it's been more chaotic than usual, but I'm not sure that's true. There's always something. But, I'm more than happy to pester you about going home more.

With focus I can narrow the field and untangle the mess of thoughts, but without knowing how to do that it would be cacophonous. Luckily I'm accustomed to reading lots of minds at once, so it's not too unfamiliar even though it's much more intense.

I'm used to it, but if I really need to turn it off I can. I'm not sure if anyone told you but we lost our powers for a few days before you came. The silence was miserable.

yes, Jean Grey mentioned this when i met her on Genosha. i did not like having the collar on me when we were captured, so i do not envy you the experience.

Yes, though the collar was much more fraught. I didn't have time to think about how quiet it was.

That doesn't quite track, but I believe we're both curious enough that we likely do. And good, I think him and Charles need some humbling on occasion.

it is mostly a blur to me now, but it was a very strange feeling for me.

i have no sycophantic tendencies. if i am doing what he asks of me it is because i agree with him. but for what it's worth he does listen to my concerns when i have them

He's just very dramatic and everything feels like an ordeal. He always needs to assert himself as well, like when we flew there and he felt the need to land our plane for us.

No, this is a very objective opinion — he was being ridiculous. All it did was mildly annoy us. Though I suppose if you thought it was 'cool and cinematic' he was maybe just showing off for the Acolytes.

We generally don't show off like that. But no, it didn't hurt anyone. It was just very silly, particularly with us.
