[A Tudor Pelagos Ultra, a very nice but practical watch intended to take a beating. It's made of titanium, is mechanical so it doesn't require a battery, is waterproof up to 1,000m, and is particularly resistant to magnetic fields. Hidden on the back of the face, dead in the center, a small diamond has been embedded* flush so that it rests against the wrist without being noticeable. Additionally, there's a large bouquet of flowers on his desk, artfully arranged so that the different shades provide the most aesthetic contrast for Scott's red-washed vision. A new motivational poster has also been hung up in the same way that Scott had hung the others, but intentionally crooked.]

He stares at the flowers for a minute, wondering how they look to someone who sees their colors properly, and knowing somehow that Emma must have considered this when she picked this bouquet out. He brushes his fingers over the petals, careful not to disturb the arrangement, and then switches his watch out for the new one, which he'll wear from now on. The note goes into the secure safe in his office. The poster he'll leave for almost an entire week before he straightens it out.
