Write a short bio explaining your character's role and standing in their faction as well as their signature combat style. This should be brief! I'll include a space in the OOC section below if you'd like to post a more in-depth backstory for your AU character.
Rate your character's abilities on a scale of 1-7, where 7 is superhumanly excellent, 4 is average, and 1 is virtually non-existent. There's no limit for point allocation; your character can be 7s across the board if you want. The PCs are, in general, the most elite of their factions. You are of course also welcome to suck at everything if you want, too.
Prowess: Mundane combat skills of all kinds.
Control: Ability to wield mutant powers effectively.
Durability: Stamina, toughness, and ability take hits.
Stealth: Speed, agility, and ability to avoid detection.
Persuasion: Charisma and manipulation.
Intelligence: Learned knowledge and quick thinking.

ILLYANA RASPUTIN
The Rasputins have long served as the occult advisors to the aristocratic Boudreaux family, and Illyana's grandfather was one of the magicians responsible for forging the Guildpact. Illyana herself is akin to minor nobility in both the mutant underground and her mundane life, with the public persona of a glamorous European socialite. She is Belladonna's Maid of Honor and closest friend, having been assigned to be her personal bodyguard after the Wolverine incident when the girls were 10.
Illyana-0902 has been trained in sorcery by her grandfather and father since she was a small child, and uses magic as her primary offense. While she is also trained in guns, weapons, and hand-to-hand combat, she is not the skilled swordswoman she is on Earth-367 and does not have a Soulsword.

Warren
Warren Worthington III was the first mutant born to the Worthington business empire, and subsequently their foot in the door of the Thieves Guild. While no thief himself, Warren delivers high-end clients and targets to guild members. If you need a job, he's not a bad person to ask... as long as you hold up your end of the deal. He's a cooperative ally, and if his children are also mutants, it'll solidify this arrangement for the next generation.
Recently, someone put out an unusual hit on Warren. They specifically requested that he not be killed, but that the assassin should maim or remove his wings in the attack. In reality, this is not some brilliant power grab or even revenge, but a petty backstab from his childhood friend and business associate, Cameron Hodge.

As the son of Mystique, Kurt Darkholme is a well-known and well-regarded assassin who carries the notoriety of his mothers with him. If Mystique doesn't make you nervous, then the more reclusive Irene probably could. Currently in his early 30's, his reputation is established as one of the top assassins, even without his pedigree. Being a teleporter who climbs walls and blends into the shadows certainly gave him an edge.
Kurt has been training for this since he could walk, and blends rapid teleportation with knives and daggers. He has no trouble bringing a knife to a literal gunfight. He was his mothers' golden child, while his sister, Rogue, was kept behind the scenes. Ever since his close encounter with the Wolverine, perhaps even before then, Kurt idolized the infamous assasin and speaks about him with reverence and awe.

kiki
After her parents were massacred by Wolverine, Katherine Pryde (who has many other aliases) was secretly raised with funding from her wealthy father, Winston Frost. He saw her potential utility as an assassin even though she was illegitimate. She was given some martial arts and weapon training early on, but absconded to the Thieves' Guild as soon as she found her half-brother who had done the same, years before.
At 20, Kiki is a highly sought-after thief who has yet to meet a security system that she can't get past. Unfortunately, her other reputation is that of a cocky annoyance who some wish to swat down. It's hard to catch her, which also is why she rarely fights at all, relying on her powers to keep her safe. At least she's fun at parties and gets invited to them all. Of course this one too.
Raised in tandem with Kurt by Mystique and Destiny, Rogue was sharpened into an effective, very secret weapon. Her life-draining powers are honed to peak lethality at the cost of having any semblance of control over their use. She absorbs more quickly in this universe and cannot touch anyone for any amount of time without harming them, and is therefore unable to borrow powers or surface memories. Rogue prefers to drain victims to a point, then finish them off with more mundane means, as she absorbs permanently the powers, memories, and personalities of mutants she slays with her powers. This is not always possible.
Rogue is still broadly unknown by the guilds, and is not supported by her mothers' reputations. To those who have encountered her she's known as enigmatic, very charming but unstable, likely the result of all the personalities she's absorbed. A good option for those who wish to kill someone with just a kiss. She is at the wedding on contract to kill Remy Lebeau on sight.

Scott Winters
Orphan runaway Scott Summers came to the Thieves Guild at 14 years old, when he was adopted by Jack Winters, leader of the Diamond Gang. Although young Scott was recruited to bust down walls and dispatch security with his destructive optic blasts, his real talent lay in planning and organizing heists. He worked his way up the ranks, and now serves as the consigliere to the LeBeau family despite being only 28 years old. At times, his loyalty to the LeBeaus is tested by his demanding and manipulative father, Jack.
Where Scott Summers is a frontline general, Scott Winters has spent these past few years wearing tailored suits, arbitrating meetings, and attempting to keep things running smoothly. However, he wields tremendous influence in the Thieves Guild, and is tasked with making sure the wedding appears on the up and up while also helping coordinate the Thieves' secret plans...

X-23
As the most successful attempt at cloning the Wolverine, X-23 is gifted with his killer instinct, razor-sharp claws, immortal healing factor, and none of his soft heart — or so her handlers say. The diminutive 13-year-old girl has spent her entire life training to be the perfect weapon, and her blood makes her subject to the same contracts that once bound the Wolverine.
Her claws were coated in adamantium a month ago, and she's been taking assassination contracts ever since. Although undeniably efficient, X-23 is naive and inexperienced, and she has few friends (and only one person who might claim her as family — her creator, Dr. Sarah Kinney). The wedding is the first time she's been allowed to socialize on her own.

From a family of assassins, Em fled home at the age of 12 to escape a father bent on controlling his every action. Rather quickly he was taken in by the Thieves Guild at large thanks to his abilities and charm, and spent the rest of his childhood bouncing between caretakers until he was 18. He's generally well-regarded, and seems to know just about everyone, even without the use of his powers.
Em serves more of a supporting role than anything else, cleaning up messes with mind wipes, guiding younger thieves in their training, and providing realtime, tactical insights on jobs when necessary. His three full siblings remain in the Assassin's Guild while his half-sister, Kiki Pryde, is a thief.

Manuel is the last member in a long line of Spanish nobility, having orchestrated the deaths of his parents and siblings after his family caught on to the fact that he was a mutant. He was going to be disinherited, what else was he supposed to do? Regardless, he ended up being brought into the Assassins Guild not long after under the tutelage of Sebastian Shaw.
A calculating and charismatic manipulator, Manuel uses his powers to convince targets to end their own lives or turn people into weapons to carry out his assignments. Grim. He's never killed anyone directly and is often looked down on or considered soft by his peers in the Assassins Guild as a result. He pretends not to care. As people submit their AU forms, I will randomly roll tasks and events that their character is meant to do (ie, heist activities, deal with an NPC, fight to the death with another character, etc) and everyone can decide whether or not that this a thing their character will actually do, although not complying with the assigned tasks or failing to complete them risks further compromising the timeline.
I'll also be rolling to determine whether a kill order is placed on any character and on which day that occurs. If a kill order is placed on your character, NPC assassins will continuously attack them until the end of the plot.
You don't need to post anything here! I'll posts blurbs summarizing your character's info, NPCs they may need to interact with, etc as I complete them.
Upon arriving on Earth-0902, Illyana is immediately beset by approximately one thousand text messages: she is the Maid of Honor for the wedding, and the point of contact for logistics for the entire bridal party. Additionally, she and her brother Piotr are promptly summoned by Lady Deathstrike, a higher-up in the Assassins Guild who tasks them with the assassination of Remy Lebeau before the wedding. Lady Deathstrike remains in contact with the Rasputins throughout the weekend, albeit loftily; Illyana’s efforts for foiling these attempts will largely need to be focused on her NPC brother.
As the Consigliere to the Lebeau family, Scott is in possession of the family’s entire schedule for the weekend and knows exactly where Remy and Jean-Luc are supposed to be and when. Luckily(?) for Scott, people in this universe are used to him making appearances on Jean-Luc’s behalf, so he should be able to handle most of the Thief King’s meetings for the group without arousing too much suspicion. Most troublesome for him will be Odessa Drake, who holds a similar position to his but in the NYC chapter of the Thieves Guild. She has traveled for the wedding and expects to see Jean-Luc personally. Additionally, Mercy Lebeau, the widow of Remy’s late brother, will become dead-set on investigating Jean-Luc’s whereabouts should he miss the rehearsal dinner on Friday evening.
Unluckily for Scott, a kill order is triggered on him on Thursday Evening, during the bachelor/ette parties.
Kiki was in charge of neutralizing the security systems for the heist. Because she no longer has her alternate self’s memories, Kitty will have only about 16 hours to perform reconnaissance and then create and execute a plan. She may be able to decipher Kiki’s notes and correspondences on the topic to speed this process along.
A kill order is triggered on Kiki on Thursday Evening, during the bachelor/ette parties.
On Friday, Mystique personally asks Kurt to eliminate Scott Winters, whom she suspects is involved in the heist. While Kurt may be able to delay this attempt by a few hours, she makes it clear that it is urgent. Any confrontation between Scott and Kurt which does not end with one of them dead will arouse her suspicions as to Kurt’s loyalties.

When Rogue returns to Mystique after her failed assassination attempt on Remy, she is not met with disappointment. It seems her attempt was always meant to fail as part of one of Mystique’s schemes. Additionally, Mystique is concerned about a potential faction of traitors within the Assassins Guild who are looking to depose her from her position of power as Belladonna’s regent. She has credible intel that Lord and Lady Deathstrike are amongst the traitors, and also harbors suspicions which may or may not be unfounded about Illyana and Piotr Rasputin, Manuel Rodrigo and perhaps even Kurt Darkholme. Rogue is tasked with keeping an eye on these potential turncoats and asked to kill them if she sees any concrete evidence of their betrayal.

When she arrives in-universe, Laura finds that she’s accepted a handful of open assassination contracts on various NPCs. She should be able to make short work of them, save for one: the master thief known as Black Cat seems to be able to preternaturally slip through her fingers no matter how many times Laura attempts to apprehend her, thanks to her mutant ability of luck manipulation. Besides these few contracts, Laura’s weekend will largely be occupied with being introduced to various high-ranking members of the Assassins Guild who seem more interested in her as a commodity than a person.

Warren will quickly learn that the Lebeaus and company aren’t the only ones planning a heist this weekend. Felicia Hardy, a master thief from the New York chapter of the Thieves Guild and an old friend of Warren’s is cashing in a favor long owed. While she is sparing about the details of what she’s stealing from the Boudreaux family manor, Warren knows her to be more of a jewel thief than anything else, so this likely won’t interfere with their heist on Assassin Guild headquarters. All she needs him to do is plant a discreet device in the manor without rousing suspicions. Because he owes her a favor, he is bound by the Guildpact to attempt to do this.
A kill order is triggered on Warren on Saturday morning. This should be more-or-less fine as long as he stays on hotel grounds.

Throughout the course of Thursday afternoon and evening, the 367 characters will arrive in their new bodies and settle into the timeline. The bachelor and bachelorette parties are tonight, although attendance may or may not be expected of your character. Although these parties take place off hotel grounds, there is a sort of amicable and casual truce between the factions in celebration of the wedding, and most NPCs will be more tolerant of unusual behavior than they would otherwise be.

Saturday is the day of the wedding, and the Thieves execute Wolverine's blood contract at 8am. Preparations begin in the early morning, with most guests arriving to the hotel by 9am. The event taking place on enforced neutral territory is the only thing keeping the peace at this point. By the cocktail hour reception at 4pm, the mood has soured considerably. Putting a toe out of line in front of the wrong NPC today could result in severe consequences.

Is your character going to stay to fight the Wolverine? Post below with your tactics for confronting the master assassin turned Bogeyman, as well as if your character is willing to fight to the death. I'll randomly roll to see who goes toe to toe with him the longest based on the above statblocks, with a bonus roll if the character is fighting to the death. This gets you nothing but dubious bragging rights.
Those who flee the wedding massacre will be returned to Earth-367 within the hour.
Laura has never met the Wolverine in person, but her training was based on his test data. She knows their differences intimately. Weapon X is stronger and more durable, on account of his fully adamantium skeleton, but Laura is faster and more mobile, and able to stab with her feet where he only has his hand claws.
She's spent years obsessing over how to kill him. Laura grabs champagne glasses and anything else breakable, running in to slice him and embed little pieces of glass in the wounds so they can't fully close. She vaults herself like a gymnast any time he swipes at her, moving to his blind side and peppering him with endless little cuts with her hands and feet. If he exposes a weak spot—eyes, tendons—she doesn't hesitate to go for it. If he hurts her, she doesn't care; she'll fight as long as she can keep moving.
Laura has no real plan beyond testing her mettle against her dad genetic progenitor, and will absolutely fight him to the death.
