breakloosePiotr Rasputin 🦾 ColossusDate: 2025-11-20 12:49 am (UTC)
Character Name (367): Piotr Rasputin Character Name (Here): Colossus (technically also Piotr Rasputin, but nobody calls him that) Alignment: Mojoworld Entertainer Audience Rating: ★★★★★ Appearance: Piotr looks more like his 616 self, with dark hair and a beard, and is in his mid to late 30s. Images of him around Mojoworld show a more hardened expression than he generally wears in 367. Otherwise, though, he's very recognizable. Surprisingly does not have really any scars since he's fighting in his metal form all the time.
Occupation & Persona: Piotr is a gladiator, and currently a favorite of Mojoworld. His stoic nature, astounding strength, and his ability to come out of some of the most difficult fights unscathed are all things that are celebrated. His morality injects an uncertainty into many of his fights as well, which keeps things interesting. He tends to maim instead of killing, which leads to some mixed reviews, but it's hard to argue with how cool he looks when doing it. Luckily for Piotr, his 5742 self isn't exactly a ham for the cameras, and rarely says much when interviewed, saving him from having to act much at all.
Relationships: Illyana Rasputin - Sister - A part of the rebellion, which Piotr knows but does not engage in. In an attempt to save her, he gives away information about the rebellion and its members. Mojo, of course, goes back on his deal. Shatterstar - Opponent - They're not friends, but they've met many times in the arena and have a sort of respect and rapport with each other. There's no animosity there. Your gladiator here! - If you want anything to do with him lmk
Basic History: Taken when he was in his early 20s, Piotr was quickly thrown into the ring and while he always possessed the same strength, his tactics had no flair he often didn't fight back, and thus he was seen as a less-than-exciting newcomer except for a small group of dedicated fans. He's one of the longest running gladiators, though, which slowly brought attention to him. He grew as a fighter, accepted his place as someone who had to dole out pain and death, and in the past 5 years has become a darling of Mojoworld. He lives well, for a gladiator, but generally keeps to himself and tries to avoid forming any attachments to anyone at all. While aware of the rebellion, he is not involved in it himself and finds it futile. He wants to help people and he wants for things to be better, but he's been beaten down enough that he can't see a scenario where the rebellion leads in anything but its own destruction. He's happy to keep their secret, though, until threats get him to give them up.
frost_queenEmma Frost ♕ White QueenDate: 2025-11-20 01:32 am (UTC)
Character Name (367): Emma Frost Character Name (Here): Emma Summers (and has never been The White Queen) Alignment: Mojoworld Entertainer, covert rebel Audience Rating: ★★★☆☆ Appearance: Though Emma is in her 50s, extended periods of time in her diamond for mean that she still appears as though she's in her 20s. Except when she's performing her job requiring telepathy or for brief periods in the evening (but not while she sleeps), Emma is always in her diamond form. Her hair is shorter and generally slicked back a la this Hellfire Gala look, and most of her clothes are about as covering as that as well, given that she's mostly diamond anyways. Yes I made a section in Pinterest. Her left hand looks significantly older than the rest of her, though she's typically wearing gloves when she's fleshy so it's not obvious. It's because she often makes it non-diamond to comfortably hold Scott or Ruby's hand. Always wearing her engagement ring/wedding band, the former of which is a rather absurdly large ruby circled by diamonds.
Occupation & Persona: Emma is essentially a living holodeck and a reluctant (but very competent) reality tv star. Because her place in Mojoworld is more mundane or specialized, depending on how you interact with her, the audience's opinion of her is extremely mixed. Some find the reality tv she's a part of uninteresting while others like to have nearly non-stop coverage of her life. Some are obsessed with her ability to transport them to different places without the use of any technology. Some miss her dancing days.
Emma is incredibly savvy, and does a good job in front of the camera and presents interesting beats for whatever she's being featured in. She does her best to bend things to her will subtly, and has a relatively cordial relationship with Mojo even though she detests him. Because of her life as a slice-of-life reality star, she (and Scott) are afforded a nicer, larger home than most, along with better food and a bit more freedom. With her emotions dulled, she can come off as quite aloof, but she's good at acting otherwise.
Relationships: Scott Summers - Husband - Their union is the result of a Bachelorette-style tv show where Scott and Emma, early on, decided to work together to make sure he won. Not in love, but deeply devoted to him. Ruby Summers - Daughter - Scott and Emma went to great lengths to avoid procreating, and Mojo eventually got fed up and just made them a child with their DNA. Because of their public life, Ruby was delivered as a baby for them to raise, and is now a young teenager. Her name was chosen by a popular vote. Kitty Pryde - Rebellion Handler - Friendly, and Emma feeds her information constantly. They definitely meet in the bathroom of Emma's house all the time since it's the only place without cameras.
Basic History: Emma was a 19 year old dancer at the Hellfire Club when she was taken by Mojo, and luckily was already in possession of both her telepathy and her diamond form. Though obviously unhappy, she quickly realized she needed to make the best of the situation, and played the parts that were asked of her well and without complaint. Initially most of her work was dancing or holodeck-ing, and she became popular enough from the former than Mojo decided to set up a Bachelorette-style show to get her married. She assessed all the competitors, decided Scott was the best choice, and mentally contacted him to form an alliance so he could win. While the final two bachelors ended up having to fight to the death (a Mojo surprise!), Scott prevailed. Their wedding was extravagant and televised, and they fell into 'married life' in their nice, new home littered with cameras absolutely everywhere. And life went on. They were given Ruby to raise. She continued to work and smile at the camera. At the rustlings of a rebellion she made an effort to get involved, especially due to her proximity with Mojo, and has been involved for some time now.

Character Name (367): Kitty Pryde Character Name (Here): Kat Pryde (Think we’re in Shadowkat territory codename wise unfortunately) Alignment: External Rebellion Member Audience Rating: ☆☆☆☆☆ Appearance: Kat is in her early 30s, and looks much like an older, somehow even more stressed out version of 367 Kitty. She’s not altogether concerned with her day to day look, and wears what clothes are available to her (usually ratty, even less sense of style). Constantly messy hair, big scar under her collarbone from a narrow escape a while back. Occupation & Persona: Kat is the head of surveillance and espionage in the rebellion, a key leader figure who is well-respected and has been around for years. Her skills and expertise have bought her respect, as has the fact that she just hasn’t managed to die yet in this very dangerous job. She never got a chance to establish herself as an entertainer. She’s something of a myth to most people; she’s known as a ghost who some people have seen in passing glimpses. A symbol of whispered freedom, obviously NOT discussed publicly by anyone. Mojo knows she’s somewhere and hates her guts, so there’s a task force every few years when she reminds him by familiar actions that she’s still around. They haven’t caught her yet, though, in any way that’s stuck. Relationships: Emma Summers: Internal rebellion contact, friendly, haunts her bathroom. Remy Lebeau: Rescued him and mentored him in the rebellion; currently together. Lockheed: HE’S HERE. Dragon friend and very first companion. He is another excellent source of information, but she doesn't let him go out a lot because purple dragons are pretty distinct. Basic History: Katherine Pryde was stolen from her high school robotics club after school into Mojoworld. She escaped his grasp almost immediately, sinking into the walls and streets. She was found by Jean Grey, who mentored her and initiated her into the rebellion over the years. She died, and Kat stayed. She’s been working on freeing as many people as she can from Mojo’s grasp, and ultimately wishes to seek him out and kill him in revenge for Jean, and everyone else. She’s a little more bloodthirsty and unforgiving, harsh and stern in this world, but still the same Kitty underneath all that.
empataManuel de la Rocha (Empath)Date: 2025-11-20 05:26 am (UTC)
Character Name (367): Manuel de la Rocha Character Name (Here): Manuel de la Rocha / Major Domo Alignment: Mojo's Long-Suffering Right Hand Audience Rating: ★★☆☆☆ Appearance: Manuel appears very similar to his 367 self, though he's older (likely in his early 40s), slimmer (muscle? never heard of her), and dresses in the outlandish fashions of Mojoworld. The most noteworthy difference, though, is his eyes. While not immediately obvious, they're artificial replacements that double as cameras. The irises of these false eyes are far paler in color than his original eyes, but otherwise appear unremarkable. Those that have heightened senses or are especially observant, however, may notice that there's something slightly off about them (the way the pupils subtly expand and retract as the cameras focus, for example) and that they generate a near inaudible mechanical whirring from time to time. This Is Fine.
Occupation & Persona: Manuel is Mojo's Right Hand and this timeline's Major Domo. He has limited contact with the audience and the entertainers but near-constant contact with Mojo and Spiral. He's a string-puller that operates behind the scenes as a producer, idea man, and hype man that uses his powers to boost and guide the reactions of the audience. On the rare occasion that he's in front of the camera, most often as a host, he's charismatic, confident, and polished. In his interactions with Mojo, he walks a fine line between exasperated advisor and obedient servant; the last thing he wants to do is get on the wrong side of a psychotic tyrant. He's generally loathed by the Mojoworld entertainers, since he plays a role in orchestrating their suffering, and is a known but far from noteworthy entity among the audience.
Relationships: Manuel has few (if any) close connections in Mojoworld because of his position. He's closest to Spiral, as she's more or less his peer, though they're not exactly friends. She did pluck out his eyes and replace them in her Body Shop, after all. He may have other fleeting or superficial connections, but he's mostly in survival mode and looking out for himself. He knows about the rebellion but has never been approached to join it; this is the correct call, as he would immediately report them.
Basic History: Manuel was in his early twenties, living under the radar as a mutant and using his powers to give himself a luxurious life through the ready manipulation of others, when he was abducted by Mojo. Honestly, this place might be the karma he had coming to him. Regardless, he did the briefest stint as a gladiator, nearly died on multiple occasions, and eventually managed to maneuver his way into being Mojo's assistant instead. Since then, he's had a comparatively safe life. While he's often on the receiving end of Mojo's ire, he's safe from bloody combat, deadly traps, and warped reality show spectacles. He's been Mojo's right hand going on twenty years now and has only become more detached and cruel in that time. When in Rome, after all. As an empath, steeping in the viciousness of this reality's inhabitants likely hasn't helped either.

Character Name (367): Illyana Rasputin Character Name (Here): Magik (introduced as Illyana Rasputin, although she is no longer referred to as such) Alignment: Mojoworld entertainer and covert rebel Audience Rating: ★★★★☆ Appearance: Illyana is about 20 in this universe. When she’s fighting, she has an all-silver armor look to aesthetically match Piotr’s metal form, and her hair is also a little more platinum than golden to match. Her soulsword is a large blue-energy buster sword. 5742 Illyana is in good control of her Darkchylde form and can shift at will. Marvel Rivals Eldritch Armor Skin vibe.
Occupation & Persona: Magik is a divisive character with a fraught history in the canon of Mojoworld, but for the most part she is now a darkhorse fan favorite. She also has an extremely dedicated base of long-time haters, but they’ve become a vocal minority. A heavy hitter gladiator with a reputation for being hotheaded and unpredictable, Magik’s struggle to keep control of her demonic dark side is purely kayfabe. In reality, she is in perfect control of herself, and as always, deeply genre savvy. She understands how to play the audience to her advantage, loves to be in front of the camera, and is especially good at ragebaiting her anti-fandom. Her popularity and willingness to perform means that her life is relatively comfortable, although this also largely has to do with the privileges afforded to her as Colossus's sister.
Relationships: Piotr, her older brother. Illyana loves her brother deeply and is largely grateful for his protection, but has to constantly give her most to not getting relegated to the role of his sidekick, so there’s a wedge between them at times. Scott, her gladiator mentor perhaps? (NPC) Pixie, her rebellion handler & external rebellion member. (NPC) Luna Snow, a Mojoworld entertainer whom Magik moonlights as an antivillain for when she’s not doing her own stuff.
Basic History: Illyana was originally taken about five years ago, just as Piotr was coming into his newfound popularity. She was originally introduced as his eight-year-old sister, and her primary function was to be cartoonishly imperiled to provide Stakes for Piotr. She was perceived by audiences to be more irritating and burdensome than anything else, and thanks to the negative reception to her character, Mojo popped her off to Limbo to age her up to about 16 and have her take a level in badass. From Piotr’s perspective she was gone for five minutes; for her it had been years. Since then, she has worked hard to carve out her own niche for herself, both in front of the audience and for the rebels, for whom she does critical but limited work.
Character Name (367): Rogue Character Name (Here): Rogue still Alignment: Entertainer (Gladiator), not a rebellion member Audience Rating: ★★☆☆☆ Appearance: Rogue is about 25, white streak still present in her auburn hair. She is styled mostly in blacks and greens, as befits a villain, with never-refined makeup. She’s rarely allowed to look pretty. When she’s not fighting, she’s placed in a power dampening collar all the time. Occupation & Persona: Rogue is a gladiator who always does extremely well, but because of her connections and mothers, is given the villain edit so people do NOT like her. Well. Some do, and even more love to hate her. She held back at first when she got to Mojoworld, but she quickly learned she couldn’t do that. She now overcompensates by being too good. She’s been warned several times that villains are not supposed to win as much as she does. Hoping for a redemption arc narrative, which is something used as a bribe, but it doesn’t look promising. She will probably die first. Relationships: Kurt Wagner: Brother but she doesn’t really know him; he was taken a long time ago. She knows he was taken to Mojoworld, but she hasn't been allowed to know he's alive, yet. Other Gladiators? Help? Basic History: Rogue was, as in her world, taken in by Mystique and Destiny when she was very young and raised as a member of the Brotherhood. Which, in this world, works more to actually protect mutants than to gain power, though their morals are still pretty grey. Rogue does, though, have moderate control over her powers in this universe because she didn’t really grow up in fear of them. They were always helpful more than not. She was kidnapped by Mojo in a great loss by the Brotherhood and has been in his world for about two years. The Brotherhood has no connections to the rebellion that Rogue knows of at least, and while she hasn’t been asked to join she’s heard rumblings and wants to make that connection. No one’s reached out yet, but that’s not really a big surprise. She’s too volatile and dangerous for any of that.

Character Name (367): Kurt Wagner Character Name (Here): Nightcrawler (Or just Kurt, with no last name.) Alignment: Mojoworld Entertainer Audience Rating: ★★★★⯪ (always one step behind Piotr) Appearance: Soon!!
Occupation & Persona: Kurt is a gladiator and entertainer who is popular due to his literal and metaphorical flexibility. Some days he's an aerialist, others he's dancer, mostly he's beloved as an entertaining and fast paced fighter in the ring. He's charming and flirtatious with the public, but often finds himself irritating Mojo with his loud mouth and irresponsibility. He's jealous of Piotr's effortless popularity, and has a diva reputation that's wearing everyone thin. AU Kurt is in a bit of a panic about his potentially falling star.
Relationships: Rogue - Technically his sister, but Kurt was taken from that family a long time ago. He barely remembers them, and was told they if they loved him, they would have found him by now. Colossus - One sided rivalry. :) Other???
wingspannedwarren worthington iii 🪽 angelDate: 2025-11-21 03:37 am (UTC)
Character Name (367): Warren Worthington III Character Name (Here): Angel Alignment: Covert rebellion member. Audience Rating: ★★★☆☆ Appearance: Beautiful, statuesque, in his early 20's with white angel wings. In this universe, his wings are too small to actually carry him far. Even so, they're mostly kept pinned down, just in case he gets any ideas.
Occupation & Persona: Healer. Angel is much more fragile in this universe, but his healing ability is significantly stronger. His blood can bring gladiators back from the brink of death, and a vial sent to a loyal viewer can extend their life a year or so. He's a valuable asset to Mojo, who enjoys flaunting him around. Angel's mostly exhausted and flat, though, so he's not great around guests. He covertly helps to divert information, medical supplies and his own blood to rebellion.
Relationships: Shatterstar - He was the one who opened up to Star about the rebellion and has been looking out for him. Remy - His rebellion handler.
Character Name (367): Scott Summers Character Name (Here): Cyclops (or Scott Summers, occasionally) Alignment: Entertainer and semi-reluctant covert rebel Audience Rating: ★★★★☆ Appearance: Scott is in his early fifties, but looks older, with entirely grey hair, a beard, and prominent scars on the upper left side of his face. He is still muscular and strong, but moves with a slight limp because his right leg was replaced with a robotic prosthesis. (He uses a wheelchair when the robot leg needs to charge.) Unlike on Earth-367, where Scott's visor is typically yellow/gold, his visor here is gunmetal grey.
Occupation & Persona: Scott is a former long-reigning arena champion, turned trainer for new and upcoming gladiators. A divisive character even in his heyday, Cyclops is known to be blunt, unsmiling, and strict with himself and anyone who works with him, but also occasionally pulls out an impromptu inspirational speech or flashy action moment that reminds people of why he used to be a star. He is a reality TV fixture due to his proximity to Emma, and also frequently features in commentaries/interviews about the latest arena star. Scott has his diehard fans, and tends to be respected even when he isn't liked.
His relationship with Mojo is fairly businesslike. He lasted this long by being a highly reliable arena manager, and does his best to enforce the rules and keep things running for Mojo while doing what he can to take care of his gladiators. He is allied with the rebellion, but has made it clear that he will choose the people closest to him over helping the rebels. He's reluctant to take risks for the rebellion.
Basic History: Taken when he was a teenage superhero under the care of Charles Xavier, Scott survived in the arena thanks to his wits and incredibly destructive force beams. He was soon found by rebel leader Jean Grey—they fought together for a number of years, they fell in love, and then she died in a big push to overthrow Mojo. Embittered and grieving, Scott pulled away from the rebellion and became an unhinged loose cannon in the arena for awhile. Unfortunately for him, this behavior made him SUPER popular, and he soon became one of the top gladiators in the arena. After several years of fighting, he got injured and was allowed to transition to a different role as a trainer (and cooperating more with the entertainment side of things). He got reality TV married to Emma. Mojo genetically engineered their kid. tba i must run lmao
Character Name (367): n/a Character Name (Here): Shatterstar Alignment: Mojoworld Entertainer Audience Rating: ★★★★★ Appearance: Shatterstar is tall, lean, and muscular with long red hair and a black, six-pointed starburst pattern over his left eye. In the arena, he's typically dressed in white (all the better to show off the inevitable bloodstains) and armed with a pair of two-bladed swords. It's a look!
Occupation & Persona: Shatterstar is a gladiator that debuted in his teens and has gradually amassed popularity in Mojoworld because of his combat prowess and dramatic flair. He doesn't know much, but he knows how to put on a show! He relies heavily on an enhanced physicality (which allows him to move faster, hit harder, endure more, react with more precision, and adapt to most anything that comes his way) and his skills as a swordsman (which are enhanced by the energy he can channel through his weapons, allowing them to cut through almost anything). He's touted as being 'powerful enough to shatter the stars themselves', hence the name, and has a habit of surviving seemingly insurmountable odds. While he's a brutal fighter, he has a sense of honor; he'll kill without hesitation, but he doesn't seek to make his opponents suffer. Even if it might make a better spectacle.
Whispers around the arena suggest that he is the son of long dead rebel leaders. This information was intentionally 'leaked' by Mojo but has never been confirmed; it keeps the audience talking! Star has heard this too, though it doesn't mean much to him. He doesn't remember ever having parents.
Relationships: Shatterstar had an isolated upbringing after the deaths of his parents and has met few people beyond his competition, so forming connections with others isn't something he's good at or has the opportunity to do often. That said...
Angel - Star's healing abilities have their limits. On the occasions that he's been pushed beyond them, he's always ended up in the care of Angel. During their meetings, Angel has been kind to him and that left an impression. While he was never swayed to align himself with the rebellion, he does see Angel as someone that deserves to be protected. Other Gladiators - Shatterstar has faced them all in combat and acknowledges them as exceptional warriors. He's won and lost against them, but they've never managed to kill each other. To him, that says a lot. There's a level of respect there and he doesn't hold any grudges no matter how gruesome their past encounters may've been. That's just how these things go. This can include any gladiators that want to have crossed paths with him (Colossus, Nightcrawler, Rogue, Magik, etc.). Cyclops - When Shatterstar was a child, he mostly trained in isolation under the guidance of video feeds, simulations, and various mechanical horrors. However, shortly before his debut, he was handed over to Cyclops for additional preparation and a little polishing up. While this period of mentorship was brief, he thinks of the man as being wise and skilled, if past his prime.
Basic History: Shatterstar is the son of deceased rebellion members Longshot and Dazzler. He was raised in the arena after his parents were killed and has no memory of his early life. All he remembers is a youth of isolation and intense training and all he knows is violence and spectacle. He was approached by the rebellion on a number of occasions (specifically, by Angel) but never took up the cause. Though, he's about to experience a change of heart and will defend the rebels rather than cutting them down when push comes to shove.

It's been a strange day, given that they'd barely had the time to wrap their heads around needing to depart and then arriving somewhere all too familiar with little to no information. And then of course, there's the matter of her secondary mutation. Emma finds her diamond form here beautiful and safe, but it's been odd to experience the general insanity of Mojoworld with no view into anyone's minds and strangely dulled feelings. Even realizing she has a daughter, particularly with Scott, had been rather anticlimactic, though intellectually she knew it should elicit an emotion. She'd gone through the day doing what she could to seem normal, and had made it out alive.
Now it's evening, and she figures some time to be her usual self shouldn't be viewed as anything strange, especially in the bedroom. She really needs to contact everyone anyways, and she wants to talk to Scott telepathically, given how monitored they are.
She sinks down onto the bed as she changes, shifting her form coming as second nature, luckily.

Illyana has been mentally preparing herself to go to her own dimension at a moment's notice since she'd started helping Ambrose with his calculations. They'd had awhile to prepare before their jaunt to Remy's world, but she knows it's more likely than not that any forewarning will be more abrupt than that. Somehow, she hadn't fully prepared herself for the possibility of Piotr's world coming into alignment before hers.
"You do not have to do this," she tells him in Russian as they peel away from the group. She knows they have just minutes to prepare, but she feels beholden to give him the choice to back out. She knows he's a very dutiful person, but in matters of his wellbeing she feels less loyal to the X-Men than she perhaps should, at this point in their alliance. "We will make do with whatever opportunities we get."

When Remy comes to in his alternate self's body, he's momentarily disoriented to find his hand resting on someone's hip. It only takes him a second to identify the other person as Kitty, and he immediately withdraws his hand as if he's been burned.
passingthruKITTY PRYDEDate: 2025-11-20 04:32 am (UTC)
This version of her, Kitty had to admit, was perhaps even smarter than she was in her own world. The work she'd done with minimal resources and the need to stay completely hidden is impressive. She'd diverted a copy of Mojo's constant surveillance feed for the rebellion somewhere along the line, and so Kitty knows exactly when to go to Emma's house, and knows that the downstairs bathroom is both the easiest place to go to avoid surveillance and escape from quickly. It has a bathtub, so all they'll have to do is turn it on to give anyone watching a legitimate reason why Emma might be in there for more than a moment.
Kitty rises up from the floor and positions herself behind the toilet, invisible to mirrors or open doors, to wait for her friend to come in. She isn't sure if Emma's available psychically, but just in case, she makes herself solid so Emma can sense her. Within seconds in this interlude, Kitty closes her eyes, feeling a little safe for the first time in two days.
breakloosePiotr Rasputin 🦾 ColossusDate: 2025-11-22 02:12 am (UTC)
It's the morning, and the gladiators have all been given their liquid sustenance, which Piotr finds particularly offensive to his palate. He's used to low quality food, limited rations, but this is... nothing. No way to even get a small bit of enjoyment from the 'meal.'
He's glad that where he is now is better than most other gladiators, who are kept in much more restricted areas. The more popular ones like himself and Kurt, who have proven themselves to not be problems, get this — a fake sort of freedom to sit in a common area and sip at their depressing food.
Unable to help himself, Piotr is contemplating the horrible idea of being sent back here when he sees Kurt, and inclines his chin at the X-Man.
empataManuel de la Rocha (Empath)Date: 2025-11-25 01:21 am (UTC)
Despite his position of relative safety, Mojoworld is beginning to take its toll on Manuel as time crawls along and the misery of the place seeps into him. For days, his empathic sense has been awash in the insatiable savagery of this dimension's locals, the Spineless he's heard Spiral call them, and the suffering of the captives. Pinpointing the emotions of his friends among this constant cacophony has proven difficult as well, leaving him with an uneasy feeling that's difficult to shake, especially with Emma's limited ability to connect them. He feels...alone.
And he hates being alone. Though he would never admit it.
So, when Kitty had offered to come to his quarters, he had readily agreed and refused to acknowledge the possibility that she was taking the risk more for him than for herself.
Now, lying back on the bed in his modest room, he closes his eyes and awaits her arrival. He won't be able to sense her coming, not when she's phased, but he can't risk seeing her either. Sighing, he drapes an arm across his face, putting one more obstacle between the space around him and his treacherous eyes as he silently counts the seconds ticking by, trying and failing not to be impatient.
Shatterstar had been as surprised as anyone when he'd turned his blades away from the rebels and toward his fellow gladiators instead. It had been a split-second decision, almost an impulse, informed by many quiet conversations and a sharp pang of fondness for the healer-turned-saboteur that had been attempting to recruit him to their cause. He'd always said no. He'd had no reason to fight for freedom; he didn't even know what that meant. Not really. But he doesn't want Angel to die here, so what else is there to do but reject Mojo's orders and fight alongside him and his allies?
So he returns to what he knows and leaps into the fray with vigor, deflecting blows and plunging his swords into anyone that gets too close. In the stands, the crowd gasps and roars and screams, first with disapproval and then with excitement as he and the rebels fight back against dozens of gladiators, a slew of automated death traps, and unfathomable odds. But Mojo's shrill voice, pouring from every speaker and full of wild rage, makes it clear that he's not enjoying the show and that the barrage will continue until all of them are dead. Just as the adverts had promised. As minutes pass, blood spills and bones break and flesh burns. Even by the standards of this place, it's a display of intentional brutality and chaos. The first blade that manages to find its way through his back, missing his heart without him even having to move it (sloppy), makes it clear to Shatterstar that the tides are turning and it's only a matter of time.
So he makes another of those split-second decisions, suddenly and instinctively certain that if he channels all the energy he can he'll be able to cut through the world itself and give them a means of escape. He's never done anything like that before but that doesn't make him any less certain. He calls out to the rebels, telling them to be prepared to run, as bioelectricity surges through him, arcing off his body in pulsating waves and gathering in the blades that've become like an extension of his body over these many years. It's almost too much and he can feel his body threatening to give out under the exertion before he can bring the blades down and unleash everything in a devastating rush of force.
And then...
He doesn't quite know what happens. One of the rebels, the ghost-girl that had been passing through her attackers like smoke until the nasty shock of a plasma rifle had forced her back into solidity, takes something out of her bag. A silvery disc that's knocked out of her hand and sent spiraling into the arc of his blade. The energy that had been tearing through reality to create a portal tears through the device too and there's an eruption. Forces seen and unseen but undeniably felt, concentrated energy and potent magic, twist together into something he can't begin to put a name to. Then everything is utterly still, as if the world itself is holding its breath. Then the force unravels, engulfing everything, and he's falling.
Fading.
Slipping into exhausted unconsciousness as the world around him falters.
He isn't awake when he manifests seemingly from nothing in a quiet, cluttered office in Salem Center, New York and collapses to the floor in a bleeding heap. And he certainly isn't awake when Ambrose, surrounded by the unconscious bodies of the X-Men, jolts out of the meditative focus required to send them all hopping across the multiverse and the team is pulled suddenly and forcefully back into their bodies.
Edited (Feel free to use this as a jumping off point for other scenes. Star is unconscious and won't be responding. Obvs.) Date: 2025-11-19 03:46 pm (UTC)
Though Mojoworld is heavily monitored and movement is restricted, that kiiiiiiinda makes it hard to do scenes which is the whole point of this thing. This Mojo is very successful at capturing (and creating) the people and creatures he needs for entertainment, and it's hard to monitor all of that, even for him and his helpers! Please assume that your characters can sneak bits of privacy here and there to converse relatively freely so that you can do scenes.
Entertainers will often live in areas that are similar to cell blocks with private rooms that they can move freely through. For the rebellion, feel free to make up other members that make it easier to interact with other entertainers if you want. The stakes still exist, but I don't want to make it impossible to interact.
CHARACTER INFORMATION
CHARACTER INFORMATION: Colossus
Character Name (Here): Colossus (technically also Piotr Rasputin, but nobody calls him that)
Alignment: Mojoworld Entertainer
Audience Rating: ★★★★★
Appearance: Piotr looks more like his 616 self, with dark hair and a beard, and is in his mid to late 30s.
Relationships:
Illyana Rasputin - Sister - A part of the rebellion, which Piotr knows but does not engage in.
CHARACTER INFORMATION: Emma Summers
Character Name (Here): Emma Summers (and has never been The White Queen)
Alignment: Mojoworld Entertainer, covert rebel
Audience Rating: ★★★☆☆
Appearance: Though Emma is in her 50s, extended periods of time in her diamond for mean that she still appears as though she's in her 20s.
Relationships:
Scott Summers - Husband - Their union is the result of a Bachelorette-style tv show where Scott and Emma, early on, decided to work together to make sure he won.
CHARACTER INFORMATION: Shadowkat
Character Name (Here): Kat Pryde (Think we’re in Shadowkat territory codename wise unfortunately)
Alignment: External Rebellion Member
Audience Rating: ☆☆☆☆☆
Appearance: Kat is in her early 30s, and looks much like an older, somehow even more stressed out version of 367 Kitty.
Relationships:
Emma Summers: Internal rebellion contact, friendly, haunts her bathroom.
CHARACTER INFORMATION: Major Domo
Character Name (Here): Manuel de la Rocha / Major Domo
Alignment: Mojo's Long-Suffering Right Hand
Audience Rating: ★★☆☆☆
Appearance: Manuel appears very similar to his 367 self, though he's older (likely in his early 40s), slimmer (muscle? never heard of her), and dresses in the outlandish fashions of Mojoworld.
CHARACTER INFORMATION: Magik
Character Name (Here): Magik (introduced as Illyana Rasputin, although she is no longer referred to as such)
Alignment: Mojoworld entertainer and covert rebel
Audience Rating: ★★★★☆
Appearance: Illyana is about 20 in this universe.
Relationships:
Piotr, her older brother.
CHARACTER INFORMATION: Rogue
Character Name (Here): Rogue still
Alignment: Entertainer (Gladiator), not a rebellion member
Audience Rating: ★★☆☆☆
Appearance: Rogue is about 25, white streak still present in her auburn hair.
Relationships:
Kurt Wagner: Brother but she doesn’t really know him; he was taken a long time ago. She knows he was taken to Mojoworld, but she hasn't been allowed to know he's alive, yet.
Other Gladiators? Help?
Basic History:
Rogue was, as in her world, taken in by Mystique and Destiny when she was very young and raised as a member of the Brotherhood.
CHARACTER INFORMATION: Nightcrawler
Character Name (Here): Nightcrawler (Or just Kurt, with no last name.)
Alignment: Mojoworld Entertainer
Audience Rating: ★★★★⯪ (always one step behind Piotr)
Appearance: Soon!!
Relationships:
Rogue - Technically his sister, but Kurt was taken from that family a long time ago. He barely remembers them, and was told they if they loved him, they would have found him by now.
Colossus - One sided rivalry. :)
Other???
Basic History: Uhhhh soon!!
CHARACTER INFORMATION: Angel
Character Name (Here): Angel
Alignment: Covert rebellion member.
Audience Rating: ★★★☆☆
Appearance: Beautiful, statuesque, in his early 20's with white angel wings.
Relationships:
Shatterstar - He was the one who opened up to Star about the rebellion and has been looking out for him.
Remy - His rebellion handler.
Basic History: Probably sad idk.
CHARACTER INFORMATION: Cyclops
Character Name (Here): Cyclops (or Scott Summers, occasionally)
Alignment: Entertainer and semi-reluctant covert rebel
Audience Rating: ★★★★☆
Appearance: Scott is in his early fifties, but looks older, with entirely grey hair, a beard, and prominent scars on the upper left side of his face.
Relationships:
Emma Frost Summers - Wife -
Ruby Summers - Daughter -
Magik - Mentee -
Shadowkat - Friend 😑 -
(NPC) Jean Grey - Handler -
Basic History: Taken when he was a teenage superhero under the care of Charles Xavier, Scott survived in the arena thanks to his wits and incredibly destructive force beams.
CHARACTER : Shatterstar
Character Name (Here): Shatterstar
Alignment: Mojoworld Entertainer
Audience Rating: ★★★★★
Appearance: Shatterstar is tall, lean, and muscular with long red hair and a black, six-pointed starburst pattern over his left eye.

DAY 1 - Evening: Scott & Emma
Now it's evening, and she figures some time to be her usual self shouldn't be viewed as anything strange, especially in the bedroom. She really needs to contact everyone anyways, and she wants to talk to Scott telepathically, given how monitored they are.
She sinks down onto the bed as she changes, shifting her form coming as second nature, luckily.

And he hates being alone. Though he would never admit it.
So, when Kitty had offered to come to his quarters, he had
readilyagreed and refused to acknowledge the possibility that she was taking the risk more for him than for herself.

The Something Unexpected (Open to Reactions)
